Dear Ted,

I am helping the volunteers of the San Diego Team of AFS Intercultural Programs, the largest and oldest high school exchange program in the world as well as a nonprofit organization. We are working hard to find a home for an Italian boy who speaks great English, is a great student, and also has a love of swimming. He is only one of over 11,000 AFS students who will be embarking on educational and cultural exchanges between 62 partner countries this fall.

My hope is that you would share this opportunity with your membership to help us locate a good host for him. I am allowed to share the details of his biography with any prospective hosts and would be happy to do so. I could also put any interested in touch with the excellent network of volunteers who coordinate San Diego County.
