Vespa of San Diego is having a Vintage Grand Opening Ride to Little Italy.

If you have a scooter you are welcome to join us (see details below). If you do not have a scooter, NO PROBLEM. Just come join us for drinks, music, and food. We are reserving the Glass Door restaurant for this exclusive event. Great way to network and learn Italian with Vespa enthusiasts.

Here are the details posted on our site. Please RSVP if you are coming, under club just put your club name even if it isn't a ride club. We will be giving away prizes to the club with the most attendees.

Join us in a vintage scooter ride to the Grand Opening of The Vespa Boutique inside the Porto Vista Hotel in Little Italy, June 14, 2009.

The ride group meets at 10 a.m. at Vespa of San Diego in Kearny Mesa and departs shortly at 11 a.m. Refreshments will be provided. All scooter enthusiasts are invited to enjoy a relaxing ride to San Diego's Little Italy (surface streets only), where we will kickoff the Grand Opening of The Vespa Boutique located at the beautiful Porto Vista Hotel.

The event then follows to the Porto Vista's rooftop restaurant The Glass Door for drinks, food, and music.

All vintage scooters will be entered to win prizes. All scooter models welcomed.
