Dear Italian Speaker & Learner,
I am Al, your language group organizer. I coordinate a slew of language and culture groups. I am not an Italian teacher. I do need to learn from you, too! The fact that two or more people get together to converse is truly fantastic. When you arrive at the atrium, inside the Citigroup Center building, please select the right table. A cheerful 'Buona sera! Scusi, siete qua per la lingua italiana?' should get you a quick response. If instead you get a blank stare, move to the next group and tell them the same line.
Around 8:30 PM, we may want to continue the good talk over good food at a nearby pizzeria, café or restaurant.
