Hi,

My name is Beverly Palatiello, the organizer of the group. John Barber started this group as Club Amici of Jupiter in 2007 after taking an Italian class and having no place to practice. I took over the group in December of 2008 and re-named it Club Amici of the Northern Palm Beaches.

We have GREAT people in this group. We speak Italian... some of the members are fluent and some are just learning. We sometimes have different themes, and sometimes just chat away. We sometimes go out to dinner or shows. No matter what, we have FUN!

I think that copying someone is the GREATEST form of flattery. Another group in the area copies everything we do but they cannot compare to our good attitude and camaraderie. I am totally flattered with their attention to what we are doing! Nuf said :-)

Currently, there are no membership fees, but I request a $10 donation twice a year to cover the website costs. Donations are also appreciated for paper and toner costs and other incidental costs associated with running a club.

Want to attend?

We will celebrate La Befana with a party in a private home in Jupiter.

We will EACH bring an appetizer and a bottle of nice wine. Please indicate what you are bringing when you respond so it is not duplicated.

This will be a cocktail party with converstions about our holidays in as much Italian as possible.
