Meet other Italian speakers for a drink and a chat in an informal atmosphere. All members and newcomers welcome, no matter what your language level!

We meet once a month in an Italian restaurant, which has a friendly and genuine ambience well suited to the group. Although you are very welcome to eat there is absolutely no obligation to buy food.

Please note, we try to meet the first Monday of every month, and now at a new location, Osteria Piero, due to popular demand. So, please ignore any of the e-mails for Toni's, until we can figure out how to eliminate it on the auto settings!

For those of you that don't know Osteria Piero, it's on the corner near Blythswood Square, on West Regent Street.

As the seating arrangements need to be prepared in advance, please RSVP if you wish to join us - so we can make sure you have a seat!

I really enjoyed the meeting: I met some other Italians and Italian speakers with whom I had great chats. Lovely people, and the staff at the restaurant were very nice. A bit too noisy for my taste, but there were lots of us as well as other customers, so it's understandable.

Lots of people there this evening. A good mix form beginners to many native Italian.
    •  Went very well. I took along a friend who was also made very welcome. The location is very central, and on a personal plus sign for myself as I have a gluton-free diet the restaurant can cater for me with gluton-free pasta so next time I will be eating. The group are a very friendly bunch so did not take too long to relax and enjoy the ambience and chat (though im still very much at the learning level one stage) Looking forward to the December one already. Kind regards.
    •  The folk there were friendly and more than willing to speak Italian, whatever their level. It was a very relaxed atmosphere.
