The evening always begins with everyone speaking Italian as best we can, and ends for me deep in the vino and the English. Enjoyable, and relaxing, and stimulating. It's actually a blessing when the restaurant "invites" you to BYO; for the same money you will drink a much better wine. Things are expensive these days, and restaurants can't do much for seven-eight dollars a glass. The members are varied and serious and great to talk with, from many backgrounds -- game for a fun evening. ”
